We are located on the West side of Hawaii Island, the Kona Coast, just 7 miles south of Kona Airport. A beachfront hotel in the heart of the village of Kona. Across from the hotel is the Kona Pier used for departures of snorkeling tours, sportfishing, parasailing & Atlantis submarine. Just few steps to more shopping, dining, and local attractions.
Our beachfront hotel features 455 brand-new guest rooms and suites, complete with new island-inspired decor, modern amenities, spacious lanais, and sparkling ocean views. Imagine watching the sunrise over Mt. Hualalai, as you enjoy your cup of Kona Coffee from your lanai. The colors of our guestrooms bring comfort and relaxation ready to explore our Hawaii Island. Home of the Hawaii International Billfish tournament and world famous IRONMAN World Championship Triathlon. The hotel features newly renovated rooms redesigned to embody the essence of Hawaii. Guests enjoy dining at the Honu's on the Beach Restaurant or the Billfish Poolside Bar and Grille, and our award-winning lu'au provides guests with an enriching cultural experience.
Check-in Policy: Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds. Convention Policy: Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival. Hotel Spring Break Policy: This hotel cannot guarantee a spring-break-free environment. General Information: Room taxes are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. You’ll enjoy dining on a spacious lanai, complete with inviting fire pits and amazing views of our white sand beach and the turquoise ocean beyond. Start your morning with breakfast with choosing from a range of tasty a la carte menu items, including American and regional dishes, or indulge yourself in the breakfast buffet, which features made-to-order omelets, fresh fruit, pancakes, breakfast meats, coffee, tea, and much more. Our tasty breakfasts give you the energy you need to tackle a day on the Big Island of Kona, Hawaii. For an extra boost, enjoy a French Press of 100% Kona Coffee with your meal. Honu’s on the Beach is the perfect spot to sip a cocktail and enjoy a fabulous meal while the sun sets. Join us for dinner on our outdoor lanai and enjoy creative, seasonal cuisine with a variety of selections on our new farm-to-table menu, featuring Scallops and Prawns Rigatoni with fresh herbs, parmesan and choice of sauce, Hamakua Mushroom Risotto with roasted vegetables, Herb Marinated Wild Caught Fresh Island Fish, and Honu’s signature dish, Charred Beef Tenderloin Tataki served with sautéed spinach, gorgonzola, smashed potatoes and a green peppercorn glaze. Every Friday and Saturday, you can enjoy an exquisite all-you-can-eat Prime Rib & Seafood Buffet and Sunday through Thursday nights, stop in for Sushi Night and sample our freshly prepared sushi on the beach, offered in addition to the a la carte menu options.
