DAY 1 Arrival at the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). A Swiss Travel representative will meet and provide all the necessary documentation. Transfer to San Jose hotel, Presidente hotel (or similar)
DAY 2 SAN JOSE - TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) First, you will admire from a bus the Baraulio Carrillo National Park. Next, a boat will transfer you to the Tortuguero National Park. Upon arrival, there will be a short briefing, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit the village of Tortuguero. Stay two nights at Pachira Lodge (or similar)
DAY 3 TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) You will explore by boat some of the secondary canals. Rest of day at leisure
DAY 4 TORTUGUERO - ARENAL VOLCANO (Breakfast, Dinner) Today is programmed a domestic flight to Arenal or San José (Depending on the season, some months service is not available or connections to tour are not possible). On route, you will admire the scenery to La Fortuna village. During the afternoon, you will visit the Arenal 1968 lookout point just outside the Arenal National Park. At the end of the day, you will visit the world famous Tabacón Hot Springs. Logistics of tour or day in which tour takes place subject to changes. After dinner, transfer to Lomas del Volcán Hotel (or similar) where you will stay the next two nights
DAY 5 ARENAL VOLCANO (Breakfast) In the morning, you will visit the Arenal Hanging Bridges. During this guided naturalist walk, you will discover the rainforest canopy from an unrivaled perspective. Afternoon is at your leisure. Logistics of tours for the afternoon of day 4 and 5 are subject to changes
DAY 6 ARENAL VOLCANO - SAN JOSE (Breakfast) Morning will be at leisure. In the afternoon, you will transfer back to San Jose. Overnight at Presidente Inn hotel (or similar)
DAY 7 SAN JOSE - INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (Breakfast) According to your flight itinerary, you will transfer from your selected hotel to Juan Santamaría Int’l Airport (SJO)

•Regular Domestic Flight Tortuguero – San Jose or Fortuna. Logistics subject to changes. Maximum luggage weight allowance of 40 pounds (18 kgs) per person
