DAY 1 Arrival at the Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO). A Swiss Travel representative will meet and provide all the necessary documentation. Transfer to San Jose hotel. Overnight at Crown Plaza Corobicí Hotel (or similar)

DAY 2 SAN JOSE - TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) In the first part of the trip you will admire from the bus the Baraulio Carrillo National Park. Once in the Caribbean side, a boat will transfer you to the Tortuguero National Park. In the afternoon, you will visit the village of Tortuguero. Overnight at Pachira Lodge (or similar).

DAY 3 TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) You will explore by boat some of the secondary canals. Rest of day at leisure. Overnight at Pachira Lodge (or similar)

DAY 4 TORTUERO - ARENAL VOLCANO (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) A boat transfer back to the local dock. Then ground transportation will be provided to the area of Guapiles. Afterwards, continue on an unescorted transfer towards the northern lowlands. Arrive to La Fortuna Village late afternoon where the mighty Arenal Volcano will welcome you. Check in at Arenal Paraiso hotel, where you will be staying the next two nights. During the evening visit Tabacón Hot Springs.

DAY 5 ARENAL VOLCANO (Breakfast) Today is reserved at your disposal to enjoy different optional attractions.

DAY 6 ARENAL VOLCANO - MONTEVERDE (Breakfast) Depart for Monteverde via ground and boat transfer. Check-in for two nights at El Establo hotel. Evening tour of Monteverde Cloud Reserve.

DAY 7 MONTEVERDE (Breakfast) This day is at leisure to enjoy the optional sights and activities in the area.

DAY 8 MONTEVERDE - SJO INT'L AIRPORT (Breakfast) After breakfast, you will be transferred to San Jose International Airport.

Please, select a return flight later than midday in order to accommodate the transfer time of approximately 3.5 hours.

On Day 8 Hotel stay is not included in price of package. This is something guests will have to choose and pay for seperately.
When choosing your return flights, please select one with a return flight that departs no earlier than mid-day, in order to accommodate the transfer time from Monteverde to SJO Int’l Airport. This transfer takes 3 and a half hours approximately.
